  • The concerned school Headmasters/Dy.IOS/Sectoral Officers act as liason officers  for the conduct of the competitions at School or Habitation/Mandal/District level. The topper at school level in each category/activity in both languages will be considered for participating in Mandal level competitions. Similarly the topper at mandal level in each category/activity in both languages will be considered for participating in District level competitions.
  • On 28th June 2013, i.e. on Matrubhasha Gaurava Dinotsavam the District level competations will be held at GGHS Mahaboobiya, Nampally. The valuation and distribution of prizes will be done on the same day to the first three toppers in each category/activity in both languages with Certificate and Cash prizes of Rs,500/Rs.350/Rs.200 respectively.
29-06-2013 : SMC FORMATION DINOTSAVAM
  • In the light of RTE Act 2009, School Management Committees play vital role in the School Administration and Planning & implementation of School Development Plan. For the strengthening of the schools SMCs  are to be formed as per schedule in all the 695 government and 337 Aided schools as per the recent guidelines issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • In each SMC, 15 members per school @ 3 members per class will be elected and one parent among the elected SMC members will be elected as Chairperson for the SMC as per the recent guidelines issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.   
  • Election notification and Schedule for the selection of SMC members and Chairperson/Vice chairperson in all the Government/Aided schools will be given on 24th June 2013. The neighborhood school Headmasters and other functionaries of line departments act as liason officers for the smooth conduct of the election process by 26th June 2013. The 12 Dy. Educational Officers and 24 Dy. Inspectors of  Schools shall ensure that SMCs are formed in all the Schools.   
  • The Parents, Teachers, NGOs, CSOs, Educationalists, Old students,Public representatives, philanthropists shall also be included in the SMCs.
  • On 29th June 2013, i.e. on SMC Formation Dinotsavam, the newly formed SMCs meeting will be organized by the HM& Convener.The public representatives, MLC/MLA/Corporator will be invited as  special guests. Interaction with the teachers and parents will be done. On the SMC day the following agenda will be discussed.
  1. Enrollment of children and steps to increase the enrollment
  2. Covering of out of school children in the habitation
  3. Utilisation of funds in the school
  4. Proper distribution of text books and Uniforms to children
  5. Distribution of Mid day meal
  6. Checking of quality of education
  7. Proper maintenance of toilets in the school
  8. Improving the attendance of the children
  9. Security of the school premises
  10. Other importance issues pertaining to local issues

  • All the Hon. MPs,MLCs,MLAs and Corporators will be invited to attend for the SMCs meeting on 29th June 2013.

03-07-2013 : MINORITY DINOTSAVAM & TREE PLANTATION DINOTSVAM
  • Hyderabad District is the Minority focused district with more than 40% minority population. Majority of the minority population dwell in mandals like Asifnagar, Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda, Charminar and Golconda.
  • During the academic year 2012-13, in the month of September, a 3 month special enrolment dirve has been taken up by RVM(SSA) Hyderabad in the minority focused mandals . Door to door survey was conducted in 80738 households and identified 7293 Minority children as Out of school children. Out of them 3364 children are enrolled into nearby regular government /aided/recognized/Anganwadi  schools and RVM supported Madarsas.  For this drive 6 reputed NGOs are
  • The major focus is on Minority education, in the district. It  is found that more than 500 madarsas are functioning, and out of them 268 Madarsas are taking support from RVM(SSA) Hyderabad. 308 Schools out of 697 schools are Urdu medium schools. All the Institutions will focus on the minority children studying in their respective schools and take up special measures meant for them.
  • On the eve of Minority Dinotsavam, in Hyderabad District, Hon’ble Chief Minister will interact with the parents whose children are newly enrolled in schools under special enrollment drive (OSC) in Hyderabad District.
  • In this connection meeting was organized at DPO RVM (SSA), Hyderabad with the Dy.Inspectors of schools of Asifnagar, Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda, Charminar and Golconda, and  6 NGOs namely COVA, MVF,  Dr.Reddy Foundation, Mahita. Naandi and Pratham who participated in the survey and enrolment of Minority OSC, on 19.6.2013 and 20.06.2013.
  • Under the chairmanship of District collector a meeting will be conducted on 21.6.2013 with  6 NGOs namely COVA, MVF,  Dr.Reddy Foundation, Mahita. Naandi and Pratham who participated in the survey and enrolment of Minority OSC.
  • All the CRPs, DLMTs, NGOs,Sectorial officers,Dy IOs and PO form in groups covering all mandals to visit schools from 2pm onward on 21-6-13.
  • On the eve of Tree plantation Dinotsavam, in Hyderabad District, Tree plantations will be taken up by involving the parents and public representatives in all the Schools.  The importance of trees and water harvesting will also be highlighted.  Students will be encouraged to maintain diary observing plants growth/progress. Trees shall be planted under Indiramma Pacchathoranam, so that two persons can be deployed in each school who will also take care toilets maintenance and watchman duties.
04-07-2013 : Health and Sanitation Day
  • As per the instructions of the Commissioner, Dept. of Health,  the following activities have been taken up the RVM (SSA), Hyderabad district to create awareness on Malaria, Dengue and chikun gunia & sanitation issues among the school children, community and public representatives by Rajiv Vidya Mission (SSA), Hyderabad District
  • District level Orientation was imparted on management and prevention of Malaria, Dengue and cheken gunia, on 18.06.2013 at SCERT conference hall, to biological teachers from High schools and child friendly teachers from Primary schools.
  • 24 biological teachers from High schools @ two teachers from each division and 48 child friendly teachers from Primary schools @ two from 24 Educational ranges participated in the orientation programme.
  • To orient the teachers on prevention and management of malaria, Dengue and cheken gunia, DM & HO along with Doctors  Sri Rajendra prassad, State consultant for prevention of Malaria and Entomologist Dr. Sriharsha from GHMC participated in the orientation programme as resource persons.
  • Divisional and mandal level orientation, by the TOTs trained at district level was conducted on  19.06.2013, to all HMs and friendly teacher of all High schools and Primary schools respectively.
  • Head Masters / friendly teachers of  High schools and Primary schools conducted orientation to all teachers at school level on 20th June 2013.
  • on 21st June 2013 and 4th July in all schools, children will be oriented   for half an hour in the school assembly  on prevention and management of malaria, Dengue and cheken gunia and to create awareness on importance of health & hygiene and sanitation issues in and around the school and in their residential areas.
  • Awareness meetings for SMCs, Community and public also will be conducted on health & hygiene and sanitation issues.
  • For Health survey of children under JBAR, SPHOs meeting was conducted at O/o the District Collector on 20.05.2013 and mapping has been done for 85 UHCs to schools. The health survey will be taken up  from 24.06.2013 to 3.07.2013 and all  Children of Govt. schools will be screened before the day of Health and Sanitation.
  •  Jawahar Bala Arogya Raksha health cards were issued and are available with school points will be updated by doctors.
